Fabulous FREEBIES!
I've made some amazing free resources for you to feel more calm, peace and ease…
Get free goodies!
It's been a while! For a variety of reasons which It's been a while! For a variety of reasons which I've been sharing on my Substack (free to read, the link's in my bio) including studying a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology (just finished the first year), a project I can't tell you about yet (annoying, I know, sorry) along with running a business and life…However, I have something exciting to tell you about, something I'm experimenting with for June. I'm trying a new approach to see how it could make my offerings more accessible to those with limited resources to invest in them.❤️ So, for the month of June I'm offering ALL my online courses with a sliding scale payment structure.I’ve experimented in the past with a ‘pay what you can’ option and learned that it can really stress out people! Concerns around what could be considered too low or what should be paid or what others are paying… caused folk to get quite tied up in knots. So, I’m trying a different way.I’m not asking for any information on your financial situation or your personal circumstances, that’s not my business. I trust in your honesty when assessing your current ability to invest.🌟 You can find the five online courses available during June with a sliding scale payment structure through the link in my bio. They will give you the understanding, tools, strategies and practical actions to have more time, feel calmer, more in control, more present and happier. On all the course info pages you can read what some of the women who’ve taken the courses thought of their experience and what they gained. This is an experiment for June to see how it goes, I’m open to whatever happens!Image description: Pic 1: A shallow stream with a rocky bed, lined by green leafy trees with a cloudless blue sky above. Today can throw up all kinds of challenges dependi Today can throw up all kinds of challenges depending on your relationship with motherhood. So if you’re finding today difficult go gently on yourself, you’re allowed to feel what you’re feeling. And that goes for you celebrating Mother’s Day too, savour the joy you’re feeling. This is not a day that comparison, competition, shoulds or guilt* will help so let’s ditch them, yes?
*They don’t help any day.Image description: Yellow daffodils growing on a grassy bank with a river just visible in the background.
A little Love Note from me to you: I was asked wha A little Love Note from me to you: I was asked what is my fondest wish for the women I serve, and I knew it straight away. My fondest wish for you is that you respect, love and care for yourself as much as you do the people around you. That you put as much effort into making yourself happy as you do other people. That you don’t wait a minute longer to value and treasure yourself.
Who remembers only having three TV channels? 👋 Who remembers only having three TV channels? 👋 A big contributor to feeling and being so pressed for time is the endless opportunities and possibilities of what we could do with our time, as well as what we think we should do with it.We have access to the world in our hands, so many interesting podcasts, tv shows, YouTube videos, ways to learn and connect...There are so many ways we can be contacted any time anywhere…😵 AND there’s all the thinking and decision making we have to constantly be doing with all these possibilities - what do I do/watch/read/listen to/talk to now and next? Did my phone buzz? Who is it? What do they want? What do I have to do? Do I have to reply now? What if I don’t?🤯 All the marvellous possibilities are also a huge drain on your time, brainpower, energy, cognitive resources, and activate your nervous system - no wonder you’re frazzled!⭐️ Which is why we tackle this head on in my online course Spacious - how to have more time (and feel calmer and happier too).Doors close on Thursday so if you want to find out more you know where the link is 😄
Hello to the influx of new followers! I think that Hello to the influx of new followers! I think that may be from the latest Love Note reel I posted 😊 I thought I'd do a little intro post…So this is me 👋 I'm in my mid-40s (hi, perimenopause!) and live in the Brecon Beacons, south Wales, UK, with my husband and little rescue dog.❤️ I'm a coach (and a writer) helping tired, stressed women who always put family, friends and work first and themselves last, which makes them feel pretty fed up and resentful and then guilty for feeling that way, to feel like they can breathe again, to get their spark back and to have more time, space and fun.🧐 My top strength is Perspective and my number one core value is Compassion (which made sense of why my clients say I create a compassionate, non-judgemental space for them).🦸‍♀️ I'm an introvert, highly empathetic and sensitive, I used to think they were weaknesses and I needed to toughen up and be more social but now I realise there's nothing wrong with them and they're actually more like super powers that help me be who I am and do what I do today.✍️ Before all this I was a corporate worker having spent 15 years in youth publishing and then a small creative business owner running my own stationery business designing, manufacturing and selling products (and I named it after my favourite book, Anne of Green Gables).5 random things:
🌁 Outside of the UK my favourite city is San Francisco and my favourite country is Italy
🤣 I find it really hard to say 'regularly' and 'particularly', the -larly at the end trips me up
🤦‍♀️ My worst (and shortest) job was aged 15, a night flipping burgers for the post-pub crowd
😍 Not a fan of gritty TV dramas or scary movies but I do love a quality rom-com
☕️🍰📚🔥🛋🐾 My idea of heaven is tea, cake, a book, a roaring fire, a comfy couch and my pup snuggled up to meIf you'd like to find out more about me and my free resources as well as online courses and coaching the link is in the usual place.⬇️ Now, I'd love to know a bit about you if you fancy sharing…

People-pleasing is such a time suck. Not just beca People-pleasing is such a time suck. Not just because of the things you do which you don’t want to do but also all the thinking around it:😞 Why did I say yes?
😔 Why can’t I just say no?
😤 So annoyed they even asked me
🥺 They put me in such an awkward situation
😣 How will I fit it in?
😖 I’ll have to move that thing, cancel this, squeeze in here, skip that…
😣 Can I get out of it?
😩 What could I say to back out?
😳 That makes me a terrible person
🤯 Aaargh, I don’t have time for this! You’re right, you don’t.Learning how to create and communicate boundaries, how to say no kindly without the guilt will make a HUGE difference and give you back so much time.Spacious – How to have more time (and feel calmer and happier too), is open for registration now with a special Early Bird Offer available until Thursday 23 February. Take a look through the link in my bio and DM me if there’s anything you want to ask.
You know that feeling of never having enough hours You know that feeling of never having enough hours in the day? And that line about you having the same number of hours as Beyonce makes you want to scream. That feeling of always trying to get on top of things, of trying to not fall behind, of needing to be in three places at once. And you think that…
…if you could just be more organised
…if you could just get a grip on everything
…if you could just be more productive
…you wouldn’t be stressed, you’d feel calm and sorted and life would just be so much smoother.(Maybe you'd get to spend more time enjoying the view with a cuppa.)And yet… it never quite happens. Or it does momentarily, but too soon life speeds right back up again.I hear you! And you are absolutely not alone. That's why I am offering you my course: Spacious – How to have more time (and feel calmer and happier too).Because that’s what we want, right? To feel…
💚 spacious
🧡 at ease
💛 lighter
💙 calmer
💜 grounded in ourselves rather than caught up in the whirlwind of life. And I promise, it is absolutely possible for you to have more time, and feel calmer and happier as well, while still being your kind, thoughtful, caring, generous, gorgeously unique and lovely self.Spacious is open for registration now with a special Early Bird Offer available until Thursday 23 February. You know where the link is!#calmcoachImage description: Pic 1: My hand holding a mug on a duvet facing a view of the sea out of a window. Do time hacks really give you more time in your da Do time hacks really give you more time in your day? Or are they actually about fitting even more things into your day?So they make you even more productive, which might mean you get more done, but it does nothing to alleviate how rushed, stressed and exhausted you are.If you're feeling frazzled by everything you have to do, by all the demands on your time and the expectations, how is squeezing more things into your waking minutes going to give you the feeling of ease, of calm, of spaciousness you long for?Time hacks are touted as the solution to all our time problems but I'd argue they create a greater sense of time scarcity by trying to convince us we should be doing more and more. And if we aren't we must be getting the time hack wrong (something else to feel bad about!).There's another way to have more time, and feel calmer and happier too, the doors to Spacious are opening soon… leave a comment or DM me if you want to know when it's available.Image description: A white chair sits in front of wooden desk with a screen stating the time next to a camera and a plant, with a round mirror on the wall.📷: Hannah Busing
