Before we get to this week’s episode I wanted to remind you of something. I’ve talked a lot about my book, The 1% Wellness Experiment, over the past few months, understandably as it was published in the UK late December and in north America last week. But that means that I’ve neglected to tell you about something else that I created for you that is incredibly powerful in helping you to stress less, banish exhaustion and have more time for you.
And that’s my online course, Spacious.
Spacious is for you if there never seem to be enough hours in the day. If there are so many demands made of you it seems like everyone wants a piece of you. If you’re not the partner, mum, friend or daughter you want or know you can be because stress and tiredness makes you snappy and resentful.
If you feel the heavy weight of time pressure, and expectations, sitting on your shoulders. If you get frustrated with how much you procrastinate. If you start your day with good intentions but then the time runs away from you and before you know it you’re crashing into bed exhausted.
With Spacious you’ll ditch the frustration, the exhaustion, resentment and stress. And you’ll have more calm, more focus and energy as you go through the day. You’ll have better connections with the people you really care about. You’ll feel more contentment, accomplishment, fulfilment and satisfaction from what you do AND you’ll have more time.
To find out more about Spacious go to gabrielletreanor.com/spacious. There you will also find words from other people who have taken the course who can tell you what they thought of it when they went through it.
Okay, on with the episode.

Welcome to episode 140. This is a bit different to how the episodes usually go because I wanted to share a message with you as today is International Women’s Day.
To those of you forcing a smile and a ‘yes, no problem’ when asked to do yet another favour, I see you.
To those feeling responsible for making sure everyone else is happy, I see you.
To those wishing somebody else would be the responsible one for a while, I see you.
To those wondering what they’d do if they weren’t the responsible one for a while, I see you.
To those wishing they could have more time to do what they want but at the same time not really knowing what they want because it’s been so long since they got to do what they want, I see you.
To those waiting to be asked, ‘how are you, really?’, I see you.
To those wanting to try something new but the thought of being rubbish at it or looking stupid is too off-putting, I see you.
To those feeling baffled and envious looking at everyone else with their sorted out lives, I see you.
To those feeling ignored until someone needs something from them, I see you.
To those with every intention of doing the things they know are good for them but somehow or other, more important things always take precedence, I see you.
To those wishing everything could just stop for a moment, I see you.
To those keeping quiet about their achievements and successes because they don’t want to show off, it’s not really a big deal and they’ve got other stuff they need to get on with, I see you.
To those wondering what happened to the girl they used to be, I see you.
To those wishing someone else would take care of them for a change, I see you.
To those wanting to scream ‘**** off!’ at the top of their lungs but don’t because it would surely make them a terrible person and they’d feel guilty about it forever, I see you
To those dreaming of sitting in a cafe with a book for as long as they fancy AND feeling guilt-free about it, I see you.
To those waiting for someone to notice they’re exhausted and tell them they can take a break, I see you.
To those wanting to say ‘no’ to something they don’t want to do but somehow it always comes out ‘yes’, I see you.
To those feeling unappreciated and put upon, resentful about it and ashamed for feeling resentful, I see you.
To those craving alone time and never getting enough of it, I see you.
To those thinking that having these thoughts makes them selfish and self-centred, I see you.
To those wondering when it will ever be their turn, their time, I see you.
I see you.
I hear you.
You are not invisible.
You are not alone.
